Suzette Laboy is a freelance reporter and producer with extensive experience in television and digital platforms as well as with documentary storytelling.

She specializes in field production, post production, reporting, research and script writing on long-format projects. Suzette also writes on business transactions, climate change, Latino issues, travel trends and more. Her work has appeared on The Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, Al Jazeera America, Cuba Trade Magazine, Daily Business Review, El Pais, Fusion, Full Measure, Latina Magazine, among many others.

Suzette spent a decade with The Associated Press as a video and print reporter, before joining Fusion Network as a producer and reporter. Her work has been recognized for several awards.

As a bilingual journalist, she was a founding  member of the South Florida chapter of The National Association of Hispanic Journalists and served as Region 4 Director for the national organization.

Suzette was born in Puerto Rico and is based in Miami, Fla.
